Places You Can Visit
Haridwar

DAY 2: GUPTKASHI ➜ SONPRAYAG ➜ GAURIKUND ➜ KEDARNATH

Kedarnath Temple
Kedarnath Temple is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva and is situated at an altitude of approximately 3,583 meters. It is believed that the temple was originally built by the Pandavas and later reconstructed by Adi Shankaracharya. Surrounded by snow-covered Himalayan peaks, Kedarnath is among the most sacred pilgrimage sites in India.

Bhairavnath Temple
Located about 500 meters from Kedarnath Temple, Bhairavnath Temple is dedicated to Lord Bhairav, who is believed to protect the Kedarnath shrine during winter when the temple remains closed.

Joshimath
