Itinerary
Day 1: Haridwar – Barkot(220 Km/7-9 Hr drive)
• Pick up from Haridwar Railway Station / Dehradun Airport in the morning.
• Proceed to Barkot.
• Visit Kempty Falls & Lakhamandal enroute.
• Overnight stay at Barkot.
Places covered: Kempty Fall (Mussoorie), Barkot.
Day 2: Barkot- Yamunotri- Barkot ( 35 Km Drive + 6 Km Trek one way)
• Early morning, around 5 AM proceed to Janki Chatti.
• This is the starting point from where you will start 6 km trek to Yamunotri Temple.
• Complete your Darshan at Yamunotri.
• Return to hotel for night stay.
Places covered: Yamunotri temple, Janki Chatti, Hanuman chatti, Surya kund, Jamunabai Kund’s tapt Kund, Origin of Yamuna river.
Day 3: Barkot – Uttarkashi ( 170 kms / 6 – 7 hrs)
Morning after a leisurely breakfast, check out from the hotel at 10 AM &
Drive to Uttarkashi. Visit Shiv Gufa (Prakteshwar Cave), Kashi Vishwanath Temple & Uttarkashi market.
Dinner & Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
Day 4: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (100 kms / 3 - 4 hrs one way)
Early morning, start the drive to Gangotri sharp at 5 AM, en route at
Gangotri can take a holy dip in Tapt Kund (Hot Spring) & further drive
to Gangotri via beautiful Harsil Valley and Bhairo Ghati. On arrival at Shree
Gangotri Temple, take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges, which is also
called Bhagirathi at its origin. Perform Pooja and Darshan, then relax for
some time in the lovely Divine surroundings like Surya Kund. Later, drive
back to Uttarkashi. Dinner & Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
Day 5: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (230 kms / 9 - 10 hrs)
Morning after breakfast, drive to Guptkashi around 8 AM via Moolgarh &
Lambgoan. En route, you can see the beautiful River Mandakini at Tilwara.
The Mandakini river comes from Kedarnath, drive alongside the river to
reach Guptakashi, and visit the Ardh Narishwar Temple in Guptakashi. Check into
the hotel upon arrival in Guptkashi. Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6: Guptkashi – Kedarnath (17 Km trek)
Early in the morning, check out & proceed to Sonprayag. Here, the vehicle will be parked & we will take the shuttle service to Gauri Kund. From Gauri Kund onwards, one can opt to proceed either by trek or Palki/Poni. Visit Kedarnath Temple, Sankracharya Samadhi, Bhim Shila etc. Overnight stay at Kedarnath near the temple.
Day 7: Kedarnath – Sitapur / Guptkashi
By Trek:-- Early morning after darshan, return to Gaurikund via trek/Palki or Poni. After reaching Gauri Kund, board the shuttle service for Sonprayag. Further meet the drive to drive for hotel. Overnight Stay at Guptkashi.
Day 8: Guptkashi – Badrinath (180 KM/8-9 Hr drive)
Morning, 6 AM check out of the hotel in Guptkashi and proceed to Badrinath
(180 kms / 8-9hrs). En route to visit Ukhimath Omkareshwar Temple
(Winter abode of Kedarnath and Madmaheshwar Ji), Chopta Valley and
Narsing Temple (Divya desam and winter abode of Shree Badrinath Ji) at
Joshimath. On arrival, pilgrims can have a bath in the Tapt Kund and the
Darshan of Badrinath Ji, Kuber Ji, Hanuman Ji, Laxmi Ji, and you can attend
the evening Aarti. Dinner & Overnight stay at Badrinath.
Day 9: Badrinath –Mana Village- Rudraprayag / Srinagar ( 160 kms / 6 - 7 hrs )
Morning after darshan of Badrinath & breakfast, check out from the hotel &
Badrinath Local sightseeing spots like Mana, Bhim Pool, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh
Gufa, Maatamoorti Temple, Chhatrapal Temple, Charanpaduka, Narad
Kund and the origin of the Saraswati River. Just within the three km of
Badrinath ji. Later, drive to Rudraprayag /Srinagar via Joshimath. En route,
visit Nand Prayag and Karna Prayag. On arrival, check in at the hotel for
dinner & overnight stay.
Day 10: Rudraprayag –Delhi Drop ( 330 kms / 10- 15 hrs )
Morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel for Haridwar. En-route visit
Dhari Devi Temple, Dev Prayag, Raghunath Temple (Divya desam) &
Rishikesh. Drop at Delhi Railway Station/Hotel or Delhi Airport……….
